Loren Starsand Island: Gifts, Schedule & Romance

Loren runs the Chrono Arcade in Maple Reed and looks after his younger sister Momo, the beach’s resident child painter. He is the tinkerer of the cast: processed materials and coffee are what he wants, and — unusually — flowers are what he hates. Some community guides spell his name Lauren.

Daily routine

He is at the arcade most of the time. On sunny afternoons he follows a fixed loop: shopping at Zerine’s General Store, dinner at Aureleaf Kitchen, then a sugar-painting treat for Momo. Winters mean extra time with his sister at the pet shop or on a park bench. Use the Social app on the in-game phone (Locate / Follow) to pin him on the map; routes change with season and weather.

Gift theme: Processed parts and ingots (Bronze, Iron Sheet, Tin Ingot, Chip, Magnet, Mini Reactor, Solid-State Battery, Radiant Crystal, Lunar Crystal), fabrics, and café drinks (Cappuccino, Iced Americano, Coconut Latte). Do not give him flowers: Moonflower, Blue Hydrangea and Red Sleep Lily are Hated.

The data export lists 76 Loved items for Loren — far too many to print; the theme above summarises them. Confirmed by two sources: Coconut Latte, Cappuccino, Iced Americano, Starflare Core, Iron Sheet, High-Performance Wire Set , Chip, Bronze, Mini Reactor, Magnet, Solid-State Battery, Tin Ingot, Flannel, Radiant Crystal, Eternal Alloy, Lunar Crystal.

Sugar painting

After a 2-heart photo together you can take the picture to the sugar-painting stall in town (100 gold) and hand Loren a “Sugar Painting – Loren”. Every NPC has a unique reaction to their own painting; reported affection gains range from 0 to +30 depending on the character. See the gifts guide for the full rundown.

Romance with Loren

Loren can be romanced by a player character of either gender. Affection runs on a five-heart scale (roughly 90 / 220 / 370 points for hearts 1–3, with 500 / 750 reported by players for hearts 4–5). Conversation (about 5 points a day), gifts, bulletin-board requests (15–30) and returning lost items (20) raise it. At three hearts you can enter his room (with a weekly blueprint chest) and, in 1.0, receive a Relationship Story; at five hearts a voiced invitation scene plays and the Move In option appears — the game has no wedding or children system, so cohabitation is the final step. He has a voiced 5-heart invitation scene; an early patch fixed a bug where male players heard female-voiced lines here.
