Starsand Island Achievements: All 75 With Unlock Rates

Starsand Island ships with 75 achievements on Steam. The table below lists every one with its in-game description and the global unlock percentage Steam reported on August 23, 2026 — five days after 1.0, so the numbers skew toward Early Access veterans and will keep shifting as console and new PC players catch up. We have sorted the list into three tiers by unlock rate and added what each cluster tells you about progression. The official descriptions are flavour text rather than instructions, so where we suggest what an achievement is tied to, it is an inference from the wording and the game’s systems, not a verified unlock condition; treat those hints as pointers, and see the linked system guides for the actual mechanics.

One framing note: the rates come from Steam and were captured during the first week of 1.0. Early Access ran February–August 2026 with the same achievement list, so the “almost everyone” tier reflects six months of PC players, while the rare tier is partly a function of how few people have finished long-term goals yet.

Tier 1 — almost everyone has these (50%+)

These track the tutorial and the first in-game season: finishing onboarding, learning a profession, furnishing and repairing the cabin, first mount, first outfit change, first NPC meetings, early farming and fishing. If you play through the opening quests from Solara and the five mentors, you will pick up nearly all of them without trying. The beginner guide covers that stretch.

24Mutual UnderstandingYour bond is skyrocketing.51.1%
Reading the cluster: “Jack of One Trade” (87.4%) and “Jack of All Trades” (54.9%) bracket the profession system — the first for picking one path, the second for reaching the junior tier in all five (Farmer, Rancher, Angler, Crafter, Explorer). “Could It be Fate?” (77.2%) and “Hello, My Friend” (57.3%) are first-meeting and early-friendship milestones; “Mutual Understanding” at exactly 51.1% is the last of the “everyone” tier and marks a relationship crossing into real affection. “Fashion Learner” and “Fashion Lover” are the first two of a four-step outfit ladder (see character creation and outfits).

Tier 2 — mid-game (20%–49.9%)

This band is the second and third season of play: ranching proper, the first profession mastered, relationship depth, map coverage, house upgrades and the first big fish. Roughly half of players have some of these and almost nobody has all of them yet.

Reading the cluster: “Grandmaster” (34.3%) and “This is My Expertise” (28.2%) point at finishing one profession’s training line, while “Master of All Trades” (12.5%, below in Tier 3) is the same idea for all five — a neat illustration of how the tiers fall out. “Loved by All” → “Recognized by Everyone” (43.9% → 24.6%) is an island-wide reputation ladder; “Sincerely Yours” (34.0%), “Close Friends” (30.0%) and later “Wholehearted”/“Longing for You” track individual hearts with NPCs — the romance and marriage guide explains the heart thresholds. “Legendary Friend” (32.4%) is the rideable-animal achievement (“my rideable friend”), “Get on Board Now!” (27.1%) a boat, and “Wanderer of Islands” (39.1%) map coverage across the home islands. “Never Empty-Handed” and “Willing Bite” are fishing milestones — the fishing guide covers rods, bait and the trials those likely correspond to.

Tier 3 — rare (under 20%)

The long tail: full farm and land expansion, every profession mastered, marriage-level relationships and cohabitation, the complete vehicle and pet collections, and several completionist “everything” achievements. Expect these percentages to rise slowly over months.

75Fluffy Recluse…Do I really need a reason to go out?2.6%
Reading the cluster, from most to least common:
  • Land and house. “A Landowner’s Pride” (18.0%), “My Big House” (15.3%), “Landlord Pride” (8.1%), “Lakeside View” (8.1%), “Dream Manor” (6.5%), “Offshore Living” (4.2%) and “Sandcastle Kingdom” (3.9%) trace plot purchases and the three extra home environments — Cloudrest Lake (“lakeside”), Windflute Island (“offshore”) and Blue Beach (“sandcastle”). The expand farm and house guide covers the purchase order and costs.
  • Relationships. “Wholehearted” (11.7%), “Longing for You” (9.6%), “Just Roommates” (7.9%, the move-in step), “Inseparable” (6.6%), “We Are…” (6.0%) and “Lifelong Companions” (4.4%) are the top of the heart ladder through cohabitation and family; “Full House” (13.3%) and “Friend Ship” (22.3%, Tier 2) read as multi-NPC friendship counts.
  • Mastery and collections. “Master of All Trades” (12.5%) is all five professions at the top tier; “Master Tamer” (10.6%), “Fluffy Addiction” (8.0%) and “Fluffy Recluse” (2.6%, the rarest of all) are the pet/creature collection line — the pets guide lists the adoptable animals; “Road Master” (15.6%) and “Starsand Racer” (6.9%) are vehicles (see vehicles guide); “Soaring High” (3.2%) is almost certainly the flying mount.
  • Farming. “Legendary Grower” (19.2%) and “Guaranteed Ripeness” (13.3%) sit on the crop-variety and quality side — the farming guide covers crops and GMax growth.
  • The capstone. “Living legend” (2.9%) — “Everything under the sun… and then some” — reads as an everything-collected achievement.

The two least-held achievements, “Fluffy Recluse” and “Living legend”, are under 3% — in a game that is five days out of Early Access, that mostly means very few players have had time rather than that they are mechanically extreme.

Xbox achievements

The Xbox Series X|S and Microsoft Store version has its own achievement list with Gamerscore. Our sources captured the Steam list; the Xbox names that players quote match the Steam names, but we have not verified a complete one-to-one mapping or the Gamerscore values, so that is unconfirmed as of August 23, 2026. Until an Xbox export is checked, use this table as the working reference — the relative difficulty should be the same game on both stores. PlayStation trophies were likewise not captured. Platform details are on the Xbox and Game Pass page.

Notes and caveats

  • Percentages are Steam global stats at capture time; they change daily.
  • Descriptions are the official English flavour text. Unlock conditions are not published by the developer; tier readings above are inferences.
  • A March 2026 patch removed three in-game “achievement quests” (Guardian of the Lost, Golden Days, Let Me Do It!) — those were quest-log entries, not Steam achievements, and the Steam list has stayed at 75.
  • Multiplayer (since 1.0) has no separate achievement set in the Steam list.

How many achievements does Starsand Island have?

75 on Steam. The Xbox version has its own list; a full comparison is not yet verified.

What is the rarest achievement in Starsand Island?

“Fluffy Recluse” at 2.6% of Steam players as of August 23, 2026, followed by “Living legend” (2.9%) and “Soaring High” (3.2%).

Are the achievements the same on Xbox?

Names reported by Xbox players match Steam’s, but we have not verified the full list or Gamerscore values. Use the Steam table as a reference and expect the same underlying goals.

Can you get all achievements in single-player?

Nothing in the list references multiplayer, and the game was single-player for its whole Early Access with the same 75 entries, so yes — the list does not require co-op.
